The sky is a celebration of indigo, the moon of gold
On the onyx black, the stars thrum luminously bold
The obsidian inkiness of the heavens is lit by a scintilla of daisies
Glinting like crowns of gliding angels or gossamer wings of pixies
On the sweeping lea of the velvet skies amethyst
A frenzy of glitters spritz in the summer breeze
Every star is a queen on the night's darkest throne
Diamantés and sequins on her sable regalia bridal gown
Diamond dust drips from a celestine, jewel encrusted necklace
Rolling like a choreographed masterpiece a wave of galaxies
Motifs of every prayer sent above are embroidered on the infinite tapestry
Wrapped in halos shimmering on the edge of a frosted rhapsody
With distant calls and silent wonders
They're snowflakes of the cosmos whispering dreams on crystalline tendrils
Tears of the moon dripping on heaven-spun poetries
They hum ballads of the constellations and untold stories
I listen to the lyrics of the stars, they tell me a thousand tales
They only dance to the tunes of the astral terrains
The darker the night, the sweeter is their song
They will glimmer lambently until rosy hues come waltzing along.
