                          REQUIEM Sitting by my window, I reminisce and remember... How I'd lost you during the monsoon thunder shower! Your memories are snapshots on thin ice…frozen! They shimmer crystalline, aureating imperially golden! And unforgotten they remain Fragile! As a daisy chain..  I guard them closely, like a last cookie  crumb But when they audaciously seep through unawares, to briny droplets I succumb... Nostalgia bathes in the late afternoon sepia light When you and I sipped steaming cups of tea chamomile… Autumn limbers in with a soft serenade in all her bridal finery of reds and gold,  Reminding me of all my bountiful days of glory old The October winds whisper their crisp  russet songs and melody But, it's your sweet nothings I yearn for, it's my only remedy! Your stories had my heart melting, your wisdom warmed my soul Your sadness carved my feelings deep, your joy made me whole… On solitary evenings, my soul ventures into the jewel-toned wilderness rea

                   LONG LOST DREAM Spun with gossamer threads dainty like a wisp They come floating on warm summer's day or an autumn's day crisp They're the fire and flame, the welcome raindrops that kiss my soul,  Utopian are my far-flung dreams, one day I hope the universe blesses me whole… Whimsical lands beckon me in daydreams, they make me forget my worries and cares… Harmonious melodies I listen to of bygone days, it brings back the old gold eras Everlasting memories flow when poetries I ink,  Night sky speckled with stars looks as if diamonds at me wink! Myriad moments of childhood rush in when yesteryears seem like long-forgotten dreams My heartstrings are tugged hopelessly when deja-vu overwhelms… Twilight ushers amaranthine hues, to my tired eyes, they're overdue Incandescence of the pearly full moon has me in a trance Scintilla of the crescent , the heavenly smile makes me want to dance These fleeting moments are a luminescence of dappled sunny puddles They

                       SILVER BELLS Through star-studded swirling galaxies and constellations celestine, You chose me when you floated down merrily, on gossamer wings, and a bejeweled chariot of gold pristine! The stars sparkled a notch brighter, the moon shone like the empress of pearls argentine! In a firework of meteor showers and starbursts, the heavens celebrated your arrival The violet empyrean looked like a divine carnival! One look at your cherubic face, a gaze into your honey brown eyes  And I could drown in pools of caramel skies! Your smiles and laughter are a birdsong chorus, The gurgling and coos whipping up rainbows miraculous A name I call you my fairy, my angel You're my dazzling light, my twinkling star-spangle! You bring mirth and gaeity even before the dawn breaks over dales and dappled bays You're my sun, my sunshine and all it's radiant rays! Spurts of your joy are my shimmer and shine My heart splinters into a million shards when you cry and whine... A
