Sitting by my window on solitary evenings,
I reminisce and remember...How I'd lost you during
The monsoon thunder shower!
Your memories are snapshots on thin ice, frozen
They shimmer crystalline, aureating imperially golden!
And unforgotten they remain---Fragile! As a daisy chain..
I guard them closely, like a last cookie crumb
But when they audaciously seep through unawares,
To briny droplets I succumb...
On solitary evenings, I walk alone in the jewelled realm
I've lost my anchor...my ship... and my helm!
I miss your warm embrace, you made things better
I wish I could hug you longer and tighter…
I fall to pieces when I pine for you
My love for you is deep and true
Can we relive this again?
When we reunite for eternity in heaven?
