For October, also a month of Domestic Violence Awareness 💜
Dusk rolls out on the lavender fields,
The sky ribboned with heather, mauve and colours of berries
A shimmering violet cradle for diamond dust sprinkles
Tear-drop petals of lupine and periwinkles
Carpet the path of Tuscan vineyards,
The quietude in the iris swathed valley paused as sangria flutes tinkle
The sweeping gossamer trails of my lilac gown; a wreath of fragile orchids as my crown
Purple has many memories, the welts too in my heart buried deep down.

Aha! That's what I felt after reading your words. The picture you painted...master strokes. Each line brought a dreamy scene right before my eyes. "Purple has many memories, the welts too in my heart buried deep down." Cherry on the lovely cake...err..poem. :) Just loved it!
